Our new eXTReme line of Flexible Build System for Resin improves the already most powerful magnet available on the market. As consumer resin machines are getting bigger and bigger, there are larger and larger forces at play, and in response, we have created our strongest magnet yet with a power of well over 800 Gauss and it is paired with a thicker Flexi Plate at 0.6 mms to not only grip more to the magnet but to also provide more stiffness to resist peel and bending.
Continuous printing with a Double Wham, start another print before you start cleaning the first! The XTR Double Wham contains:
1 XTR Magnetic Basewith 3M adhesive resistant to harsh solvents and chemicals like resin, mean green, and isopropyl alcohol
2 XTR Flexi Build Plates(spring steel) with a custom etched texture on the print side
1 Piece of Sandpaper

I did not realize that I would need a spacer to allow my printer to recalibrate the Z height. Now that I have adhered my flexible plate to my build plate, I have to 3d print a part in order to calibrate my printer. You can probably see the paradox there.
You guys gave me the extra length screws I need, how hard would it be to include the spacer that you specifically designed to allow me to calibrate my printer with this new part?
We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your installation! We do mention in the instructions to determine if a spacer is needed before installing but you can still use the methods explained here (13:24 mark) to add the needed space without the spacer: https://youtu.be/oIq7RyCIg9s?si=GmWGjhmT1awL6FPy&t=804
We really do wish we could add the spacer to the kit however the kit fits multiple printers, all with different Z switches. In addition, printer companies change and update this feature all the time without informing the public so unfortunately it would be impossible to always ship with kit.
If you are still having any issues with your install, please reach out to our technical support team at technical@whambamsystems.com and they would be happy to get you up and printing!

Great plate, awesome magnet!
Used it for the past two months with near zero issues. I will say the magnet is defiantly strong and if you are not careful it WILL pinch you and it pinches hard. I replaced a cheap version with this and now have no issues when printing. Install can be difficult as you most likely will need spacers for the home sensor piece. Just be sure to print a few extra spacers just in case you plan to print them on the same printer you are installing them on. As always I am impressed with the quality of Wham Bam plates and it continues to be my first stop for build plates for any 3D printer.

Transformative
Completely revolutionizes resin printing. For what we're doing with the printer, we would consider this experiment a failure without WhamBam. Instead we're making usable parts and looking for new applications!

So much easier!
I had been having extreme difficulties getting models off the build plate without damaging them, but this put an end to all that - works exactly as advertised and very easy to use.
I have 2, one on each of my X1C's. I have a P1P that doesn't get used much only because I need to get another WB for it. This is by far the best build surface I've used. Everything sticks, perfect first layers all the time, and I can get through 4 day prints without ever having to worry about any part of the print coming loose. I print all PLA at 62C on these and never have any issues.
This is for my second printer but I have used it on my previous one as well. I bought the single Wham because I already had a double Wham for my previous printer. That way, I can still start printing right away after removing prints from one of the plates. I followed the instructions to a T and haven’t had any issues. I really appreciate how much easier this makes my workflow for my printers.
