The Wham Bam Flexi Plate is made from high-quality flexible spring steel designed to be bent thousands of times without kinking. The spring alloy contains a high level of chromium to ensure no rust or oxidation for its lifetime.

Note: You should already have a magnet or clips installed on your printer, as this is needed to use a Flexi Plate.

Optional install of the build surface:


If your machine has automatic bed leveling, run the leveling process and set your gap such that the first layer is well squished. For more details on achieving the right first layer squish, refer to this bed leveling guide.

If your printer uses manual leveling, follow the same guide for instructions on the leveling process.

Everything you expect, but small!

Wham Bam did originally send me the right size plate, but incorrectly cut for the A1 mini. They resolved that quickly! A+ customer support! As for the plate, I own many of their larger PEX flexi plates and this one does the job just as well. Hundreds of prints in on mine and not a single defect that wasn't my fault. If you use the recommended materials, recommended settings, and clean between prints with IPA it will do the job every time. It does cost more than textured PEI from Amazon...but I don't have to replace it due to ghosting or wearing out every few hundred prints like I did on my farm plates before. Very happy and highly recommend!
