Product Details
Designed for painters, 3D artists, and effects pros, the SLAP PALETTE is a high-performance silicone palette built for serious creative work. Made from 100% premium-grade silicone, it’s tough, easy to clean, and compatible with all paints, inks, and pigments.
What’s built in:
- 5 mixing wells for clean, organized color mixing
- A wet palette zone to keep paint fresh for days
- A dry brush application zone for effect techniques
- A textured area for brush-off and layered distribution
- 2 built-in brush rests to keep your tools close and clean
Whether you're painting miniatures, layering complex textures, or mixing on the fly, the SLAP PALETTE gives you speed, control, and flexibility—all in one smart, durable tool.
Included in the box:
- 1 Silicone SLAP PALETTE
- 1 Silicone wet palette cover
- 1 Wet palette sponge
- 10 Wet palette paper sheets
- 10 Assorted precision detail brushes
- 1 Double-ended brush for dry-brush techniques
- 200 mm x 200 mm x 10 mm
- Remove the silicone cover.
- Moisten the sponge thoroughly and place one sheet of wet palette paper over it.
- Smooth the sheet so it lies flat and fully hydrated.
- Add your paints in small globs as needed.
- When not in use, replace the cover—this will keep your paints fresh and workable for several days.
- Save the extra sheets for future use.
- Use the flat pad on the left side for your dry brush paint.
- Dab a small amount of paint onto one side of your dry brush.
- Use the textured surface to spread and reduce excess paint, so only the tip remains lightly coated.
- Lightly brush across raised areas of your part to highlight details—especially striking with metallic paints!
- Use any area of the palette to mix paints.
- The 5 small wells help keep colors separated.
- Great for UV resin mixing and application too.
- Made from premium first-grade silicone—resistant to most paints and solvents.
- Wipe before paints dry when possible.
- Dried paint usually peels off easily. For stubborn spots, use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or appropriate solvents—silicone can take it.
- Clean your brushes after each use with water (for acrylics/tempera) or proper solvents (for enamel/oil).
Brush Care Tip - After cleaning, massage a small amount of dish soap into bristles, rinse, gently shape the tip, and allow to dry—this extends brush life and performance.
